'SoftGrovelane' originated from a heartfelt goal: to share true Neapolitan pizza with London. Established by the Rossi lineage in 1985, our pizzeria was a quaint, family-oriented business with time-honored recipes passed from one generation to the next.
Marco Rossi, the originator, honed the craft of pizza-making on her voyages across Italy, apprenticing with renowned pizza chefs in Naples—the cradle of pizza. After her return to the UK, she set forth to replicate the essence of authentic Italian pizza, adhering to age-old techniques and premium components.
What started as a humble 12-seater has evolved into a cherished local fixture, yet our dedication to craftsmanship and genuineness remains steadfast. Our traditional wood-fired oven methods continue, our dough is prepared anew each day, and we persist in seeking out the finest ingredients available.
Presently, 'SoftGrovelane' is still managed by the Rossi family's second generation, who guide our zealous crew. While adopting a few contemporary enhancements, the core of our mission persists: to forge delectable, authentic pizzas that unite patrons.
